Out With the Old

Today as I start thinking about the new year, I thought it might be a good time to share with you some of the tips that I have about organizing. I have supplies that I have not used in years and it is time to pass them on to a better home while clearing up my work space.
I have created a spreadsheet to prompt me in my daily organizational processes and thought I would share it with you.
You can download the file and print it out if you want to make your own notes.
Papers can be many things so figure out how you work with them and sort as needed. I have blank paper, painted paper. tissue. cardstock. plastic, large rolls and more. Your collection may be a bit different from mine.
Pens can include pencils too. W can sort, sharpen and toss what is or isn't working. I have my favorites and I am sure you do too.
Dried up paints, glues and mediums need to go. Colors you don't use can be donated. I recently eliminated many dye inks that I was not using. It is a freeing experience to let these things go.
Supplies for projects and hobbies we are no longer interested in doing can go too. At onetime I did lamp-work beads and basket weaving. I do not need these supplies now so my local craft restore will get these. I also reassess my furniture and placement for ease of use. Because I taught in person classes, I had duplicates of tools and supplies. Because I am not currently teaching in person, I can eliminate the duplications. So I guess you can see where I am headed and I hope you find something here to help you. Happy New Year!
