It was a Colorful Month

July usually is the month of celebration in the U.S. and this year was no exception. There were plenty of fireworks. Art Joy of Sharing was no exception to this because the theme for this month was NEON #NeonPop. Yes, I said POP. Had to do it because tomorrow will start August and Shel will not let me use the "p" word. lol I really didn't think I was going to enjoy this month's theme but I found I was able to embrace it and work outside of my comfort zone.

Each month we offer challenges and I wasn't sure I would be able to meet this one because it was so different from my usual work. I can say now, it was good to stretch and grow. After all that is what a challenge is meant to help us do. Sometimes you just have to embrace the differences and go for it.

August challenges will post on the first in the Art Joy of Sharing Facebook group. The first challenge video will air at 10:30 central so you can see how we interpreted the challenge, We each put our own spin on a project.

I have enjoyed seeing everyone's colorful neon this month and I look forward to new challenges in August.
