Hello friends,
I am happy and grateful you are here. December can be such a busy month my head is spinning. I have been traveling and enjoying our not quite winter weather. I just returned from Louisville Kentucky. I was able to visit a wonderful consignment co-op shop there in between family events. Here is my travel vlog.
Shel and I had taken some time off of the live stream because of other traveling but plan to be back in full strength at the beginning of the year.

This week we made holiday ornaments and next week we will be doing a holiday pick a stick challenge. I hope you can join us for the live session. You can find our live channel here.
Carve December has been going strong and I have been able to carve a number of new stamps for my collection. You can check out my Instagram feed for those. I also created a how to video about carving for you.
You may know I visited stencil girl last month and I am so excited they have teamed up with Emerald Creek for a blog hop. I absolutely love Emerald Creek embossing powders and I know you will too. Here is a tag that I created using Emerald Creek powders, stamps and a carved rubber stamp from carve December. I stanped and embossed the trees and snow flakes. The background is done with Distress Oxide inks. And Check out those Emerald Creek charms. I was able to alter these easily. The Believe was a brass color so I painted it silver. I then added a blue stone to the center of the cute snowflake.

I have plans to do some more carvings before January.
I also created this fun ATC(Artist Trading Card) using a stamp from Emerald Creek. I have always loved the stain glass look. Here is the video process.

I can’t imagine what they will come up with for Creativation in January but I know it has got to be good!
So my wish for you my friends is to have a happy, healthy holiday season. much love from your friend in art. p
