Hi everyone - wanted to tell you about my process on this pretty and hopeful tag. It would be nice on a basket of flowers for a sick friend just to say hope you are better soon. I was inspired by a challenge posted on the Frilly and Funkie blog
Sara Emily Baker had used some beautiful greens on her project. I can really get excited about color.
I also love the soft pink flowers on the Tattered Treasures project from Nancy Dynes. You can see the full post and links to their blogs on the Frilly and Funkie site.

I was using the beautiful embossing powders from Emerald Creek. I really like combining powders and on this particular piece I have used three different powders together. If you look at the gear behind the bird I started off by coating it with Fractured Ice Allure Powder. Then I swiped it again with an embossing ink pad and added the Saint Paddy's day and Copper Leaves embossing powders. The pretty pink carnations are from another stamp from Emerald Creek. I colored those with alcohol marker and hit it with some Wink of Stella brush pen for a bit of glitz. I used a few Martha Stewart stickers on a painted ATC background. I have been making ATC's everyday this month so I have a few painted cards on my desk ready to go. The stones for the flower centers come from the quarry collection. The base card was wet with a mister, crinkled and then had Distress peeled paint stain applied. The beautiful hope script Stamp was stamped with embossing ink and coated with the copper leaves Allure embossing powder. I used some seam binding for the bow to complete the tag. Be sure and stop by Emerald Creek or a retailer near you to check out these beautiful products. I know you will find something you like. If you are in the US check out the Funkie Junkie Boutique.
